4:4. ସହେି ଅବିଶ୍ବାସୀମାନେ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଭଳି ହିଂସ୍ରକ ଓ ଧ୍ବଂସାକରୀ କାମମାନ କରୁ ନାହଁ।

4:4. So they are astonished when you do not rush with them into the same flood of wickedness, and they vilify you.

4:4. Of course, your former friends are surprised when you no longer plunge into the flood of wild and destructive things they do. So they slander you.

4:4. wherein they think strange that ye run not with them into the same excess of riot, speaking evil of of:

4:4. With respect to this they are surprised when you do not join them in the same flood of debauchery, and they malign you;

4:4. Now those "friends" think it is strange that you no longer join them in all the wild and wasteful things they do. And so they say bad things about you.
